Very interesting
I see no downwind line at all, meaning you achieved that speed while standard sailing?
Does your app show also best speed at 2 seconds, 5 seconds, 10 seconds?
Artifacts are disappointing

Definitely impact equipment...those crashes are no joke!
The crashes are nothing compared to going fast on a foil and going down. I would take a 45 knot crash on a speed board over a 30 knot foil board crash!

Interestingly, I too also have one of those, same tack. I have a Lost Cause opposite tack board. Deffo going to get them out this year when we get strong winds.

That day was 35-45mph of wind on flat water. Had many runs with speeds similar and was just messing around not trying to break a world record  Was on a 9m switchblade, fast kite. 50mph is easy on flat water with lots of wind. The whole tack your not at that speed obviously, just during gusts. Getting to 60mph would take a lot more wind, glassy water and specialized gear. When they do the records its an average speed for a set distance i believe, different game all together to sustain that speed for distance. But hitting 50 mph is easy on flat water when its nuking.

What is the context for the South African flag?
The Board was built by Excelerater in Kylnary Gardens in Cape Town . In 2004 the shape of baords was intoduced by a shaper in from new Calidonia in Leucate France. That Shape than was refinded by Harry Breme and Fanatic. The board you are looking at is a latter generation buit for Luderitz. i.e. a much deepr down wind angel , could of been a baord beloning to Sebastina orginaly ...

With respect to the 50mph is easy? Utter bullshit. On a TT? Even more bullshit. At that location with no shelters water 😂😂

Get a proper gps, not your phone or a go pro or other wildly inaccurate device and try again.

Or just post the gps track on gps-kitesurfing..

You sound triggered, and pretty sure of yourself. It was recorded on a Trace GPS and that bay is well protected, a flat water spot. Speed tracked via GPS is pretty accurate. Jumps not so much, but surface speed yes. Like i said, many runs at that speed so not an anomaly. Board was my small Naish Motion, how does that trigger you? Maybe you just suck at going fast? Come to NY and i will give you some lessons. I charge $150 an hour and prefer cash.

50mph multiple times on a reach without bearing away on an Naish TT 😂

Mate you sound like legend! Get you on a speed board your gonna be over 60mlh easy, at luderitz? You would be over 75mph..

You should be coaching Rob Douglas with ability like that.

$150 to bask in your speedy glow? Selling yourself cheap.
