Maybe this kite was designed for people that are afraid of true loops, but still want to look cool? Definitely no yank in that kite.

Guys, any more news / reviews about the new Rebel?
Looking for some more info about the loops and the catch compared to my 2019 before ordering them.
I love everything else about the rebel so if indeed the catch is better, loops faster and has less backstall then I am happy.
My set was 8m and 10m 2020. I did switch to 8m, 9m and 11m 2021.

Last Saturday I did ride the 11m and I was amazed! The 11m 2021 is I think a little bit faster then the 10m 2020.
I could even do proper kiteloops with the 11m, the catch was perfect and almost no backstall. I had a Cabrinha / Infexion
bar setup that is 44cm and with a low V. The highest loop was 11.8m @ the Surfr. app.

People on the beach were amazed also, is that really an 11m?

I am looking forward to test the 9m!

Any more 2021 Rebel reviews, guys?

Kite size?

Line length?

Wind speed?

Rider weight?

Board size?

Impressions on bar pressure and kite looping?

Comparison to 2020?

Take a chance beyond your comfort zone and buy a couple. The kite has been around forever and is a known performer. I'm sure it turns faster, has more grunt, jumps higher and less bar pressure.

And this is helping people? So following your logic I should buy XR's, Rebels and Orbits, just to know if they are better than previous years?
Questions above were honest questions, for people that tried them and can share their impressions.

And again, can someone share more info about new Rebels?

It's a shame kites are so expensive. How many can afford to buy their own kites and review them? I mean more than the ones you are actually using? Would be lovely if a review just said that the previous version was better etc.

Surprisingly quiet considering how popular this kite is.

Exactly this.

Although, "better" is different for different people. I want to know differences between e.g. 2019 year rebels, as I have tried different sizes from that year and I know, what I did not like about them. I want to know if they improved or stayed the same :)

Did you get up on the wrong foot that made you post this arrogant statement or what´s the problem?

It´s a legit question to ask for reviews and I am interested as well how it performs. Furthermore, there are people that simply can´t just buy a couple of kites because they don´t have that kind of money.

If you would know the Rebel as well as you say you do, you would know that these characteristics do not always approve the same over a year. For example, 2016 Rebel jumps higher than 2017, but 2017 turns faster.

So again: Anyone got more reviews on the 2021 Rebels?

Did the reviews say that though? Honest question - as I wouldn't know.

I share Bill's frustration (I'm guessing) in terms of what reviews often are. How many reviews try to objectively describe the kite? That might not be possible, but most reviews do tend to end up very much like Bill describes them (or at least that is my subjective evaluation of reviews).

Not that I'm defending Bill's full post.

It's a shame that I'm not more charismatic. Would have loved to buy a dozen kites and properly review them. Unfortunately that would cost me far too much money and I would never be able to get that back through a YouTube-channel or anything.
