2021 Extreme Series (XS)

eleveight.png

Our latest addition to our kite range, the ExtremeSeries, was created to push the boundaries of big air. The XS has a sophisticated delta hybrid design with a high aspect ratio, featuring
a massive angle-of-attack. It is a high-performance crossover kite that sits between the FS and RS. The extended hang time is perfect for old school hooked-in tricks. Steering is fast and responsive. To withstand the extreme forces of big airs, we designed an ultra-sturdy five-strut frame that delivers stability in all situations. It has a fantastic low-end performance thanks to the superior aerodynamics and swept wingtips. Add the XS to your quiver to boost beyond your personal best.

Key performance features:
• Five-strut delta hybrid design for adrenalin addicts and boosting freaks
• Extreme big air kite with an explosive lift and long hang time
• Massive grunt in all wind conditions for freeride versatility
• Ultra-sturdy construction for maximum stability and longevity
• Rapid yet controllable flight characteristics

Sizes:
07 / 09 / 10 / 12 / 14

" The XS is the modern interpretation of a high-performance old school kite, fine-tuned for extreme big airs." Peter Stiewe

I will never understand that "manly" cheesy soundtrack people pick to sell their shit.

Although looking forward that kite, looks promising.

The low end is amazing.
And it boost massive hangtime is awesome as well as wind range.
That guy boosting massive is on a 7m in 50 knots.
If you like high aspect kites this should be your nxt buy.
I love the RS but this kite sits above you perfectly not built for megalooping.
Built specifically for hooked in big air enthusiasts.
Although you can be a trickster on it.
Unfortunately Toby they don't make an 18m haha.
But if you get the chance give this kite a ride.
Your input would be interesting

Any news about the new bar? Eleveight is supposed to come with v3 of their bar, with some major changes compared to v2

I personally like the rope bar.
Like the Naish bar.
Rope does rot after a while and when it's covered by pu you can't see it happening.
Especially when crew don't let bars dry off completely.
But in a last post Eleveight said new bar will be pu coated.
Such a hassle to change compared to simple rope.
The pu coated bars are a 3 beer job to change.

Toby you should try the 17m RS but get a 2019 bar as you can use the cam cleat with it for your airstyle trickery.
Just leave it on freeride setting and put back line on freestyle setting for more hangtime.
You would dig it has good low end but you would love that kite in big winds as you love riding super powered.
See if you can cut a deal 😉

At my spot, non-pu coated bar needs to be changed 3 times more often than PU coated ones.
This depends on the type of sand I guess.

I'd rather have rope bar, because coated line often becomes stiff in freezing conditions. And by becoming stiff it doesn't necessary remains straight.
