UFO V2? I did see a yellow/black UFO in the Gorge [Event Site] a few weeks ago. A 4m V2 production or proto? Don't know. Didn't have the opportunity to track it down at the launch.

It’s still a very light color and I’ve never been happy with a light or very light gray leading edge because it is difficult to get stains out of.
I don’t understand the obsession with white (sorry light gray) things.
Of the things to change, the leading color was not on my list.
Let’s hope they make a 4m.

3,
4 ,5,6,7,9 and 11.
New lighter leading edge material dle140
.2 kg lighter every kite?
Thinner bridle.
Retuned for drift with lighter weight kites.
I think it would be nice if there was a thinner bridle upgrade kit for the v1.x

Yep, it is confirmed that the color scheme at AWSI is the color scheme for the V2. I was hoping for a choice of colors, with something bright available. On the long downwind/upwinders I did in Baja, everyone else lost sight of me almost immediately.
It's kind of scary actually, it makes it almost impossible to provide mutual support. OTH, My buddy's new Naish kites were neon orange, I could keep track of him from an insane distance. I gave him shit about the weight the batteries must add to the kite--that's how bright it was. Oh well, I guess I'll carry smoke flares on those outings.
I think the leading edge color is dictated by the new lighter weight LE material.

I think the orange will be more visible. The first version blue was not bad, the v1.1 black was very stealth.
I think that lighter leading edge material has been used in other kites in different colors. Looks more gray here, I hope

I saw Fred n Robby a few weeks back on 8m UFOs. One was dark like the stealth odd numbers. The other one had a gold leading edge.
