I’ve had the 4m and 5m ufo v2 out a few times. Small wave riding.
The 4m is what you would expect and it think it is a bit faster flying than the 4m ghost.
The 5m doesn’t have that same sit back and pull you feel like the v1. So in light winds you will have to move it more. But the usable high end has significantly improved for me.
The way the kite floats with complete slack lines has really improved with the v2.
I’m thinking about 6m now.

Interesting. Do you think the V2 5m eliminates the need for the 4m then? What top end do you feel comfortable with on the 5m, and what wind does the 4m just become more fun than the 5m? Thanks!

I think that depends on how much you think you need a 4m ufo.
I don’t have any days where I went 5 to 4 to tell how much overlap there is. I’ll know more in the summer.

Yesterday I flew both the 6 and 8m Ghost V2 in the 18 to 25 knot wind range gusting 30. The kite feels really nice. Quite powerful with great drift. I found it’s turning response remarkably good even on full de-power. I used it with twin tip and surfboard. Re-launch is confidence inspiring especially in the waves. It will be my go-to for these conditions. I am keen to try it with my foil now.

Two new v2 UFOs arrived here
5 m2 1270 grams
7 m2 1600 grams
New bags are much bigger, maybe a bit too over size, asking me. Looking forward to compare them with v1.1
