Hi guys,
I'm new to the sport and still taking lessons, but I'm already trying to get my own equipment. I would like to have your opinions about buying my first board. I have the option to buy a brand new Eleveight Process 2021 144 (550 EUR) or a used Cabrinha Spectrum 2014 148 (300 EUR). I weigh 220 lb and I plan to have the kite to freeride in Cumbuco. What's your opinion. Which one would you buy and why?

I love eleveight kites but personally I'd save that €250 difference- whatever the main size kite people are riding at your local spot, for your weight, is where you should put the extra cash. Buy line sets new/old stocl, very nearly new, or learn to make them. If friends ask I'd suggest 70% of the budget on the main kite+lines, 10% on the board and 20% on extras. Whether you need a decent wetsuit and harness is your call.
Really tho- the one with the calavera.

Why just these 2 boards? You have plenty of options in this price range. 2014 board for 300 eur is a bit too much (not to mention the outdated graphic design of the Spectrum 2014), for just a bit more you can buy a 2019 or 2020 Spectrum. In any case, for your weight and skill level I'd go for the larger size.

The graphic design is really outdated, but since I bought it, I kind of like now
. Here in my area is hard to find used big boards to buy. In the end, I bought the Cabrinha 2014 for €230. I think was a good deal. Thanks for the help.
