I learned how to kiteboard on a twin tip this summer. Was able to ride upwind, transition and was working on toe side. Unfortunately I had a traumatic patella dislocation, while strapped into to a board wakeboarding. I had to have mpfl reconstruction. Has anyone else had this surgery and continued to kiteboard? I’m thinking of wearing a patella stabilizers, avoid jumps, and switching to a strapless directional board to prevent any twisting injury again.
