Looking for a true resistant directional board for strapped jumping

Postby JuanLoteta » Tue Oct 20, 2020 5:13 pm

Hello!
I am looking for a directional board which can resists impacts for real. I am used to ride with straps and I love to jump high. The result is that I have broken my naish skater 2017 and my Mitu pro model 2017, the Mitu has been broken 3 times (after 2 good repairs) and without any hard landing...
I have been asking to other kiteboarders and the only strong tested boards recomended are the slingshot celeritas 2017. But I cannot find this model and the new ones I heard that are weak..
Does anybody have a good experience with a resistant directional board??
Thanks a lot!!

get an Ocean Rodeo Duke or Jester. My Duke has survived for years and I absolutely hammer the s:"' out of my boards.

Slingshot makes a lot of different boards. They are good for what you describe as your riding style . All previous to the 2020 light weight construction should be good .

I would say any of the Reedin surfboards.
The design is focused on durable construction, and they are made in Europe!
They are not cheap though.

Not cheap, but they're supposedly very durable. I really liked the feel of these boards. I tried the Klochouse and Luke's Leaf models. Definitely put it on your list! :thumb:

Ninguna tabla de surf aguantará saltos altos repetidamente. El tipo de construcción no está diseñado para eso. Desde hace años sólo utilizo tablas direccionales de construcción tipo twintip/snow, sin volumen. No he conseguido partir ninguna.

If he is still making them Doyle Boards in the gorge are the most durable I have ever seen. A tiny bit stiff but ride really well also.
