Good to find out that @leeuwen confirmed my indirect findings comparing Shift vs Click as I never had chance to fly Click, just played with it on the beach. As for the pigtails - if I understood correctly you want to be able to change the end from knot to loop and vice versa without having to reverse the pigtail itself? That is a good idea! But I think there should be a common agreement(standard) for loops and knot and every manufacturer should adhere to it(e.g. power lines - loops, steering lines - knots). Same should be the situation with bar sides colors - black/grey/dark blue for right and red/orange/yellow for left. I think standard coloring could/should be considered a safety feature.

I also just had my first session with the Shift 3.0, so some "on the water" notes:
* QR and chicken loop are a lot better, the new smaller chicken loop fits perfectly the Wichard 20x14 LFR on my rope slider. The bar is as close as possible to the the rider that way.
* the untwist is way smoother in action, although the roto-head itself is smaller and hence harder to grip easy with the palm.
* the stoppers at the floaters ends are nice and functional addition

...and what I didn't like:
* I rather prefer the feeling of the 2.0 larger diameter bar with harder and secure rubber grip. The 3.0 grip is softer and doesn't have such a pronounced texture. That combined with the smaller diameter causes the bar to not feel as solid as the old one.
* the white&blue color scheme was not a problem, but I still prefer that they have the left side in red/orange/yellow
* didn't like at the OR's "premium pigtails" - the material is very hard and tend to create tangles when setting up the lines on the beach. I will have to buy some standard universal pigtails.

I don’t understand how they miss the color scheme. OR is such a great company how can they miss the basics. It looks like that we unfortunately need a regulation about this as with the new QR standard make make sure companies listen to us. Such a bad move.
