Local friend says all beaches now closed. Presumably through at least Jan 15, perhaps longer given how bad things have gotten there. Bummer for locals and visitors like Kevin and Janek.

got the message too from some friends who are living there it was anounced last night all beaches are closed in cpt

West Coast district (including Bloubergstrand) is announced as a virus hotspot, so beaches are closed. BUMMER!

Had tickets 14-31 January to CT but changing them to voucher now :(

If the beaches stay closed through the timing of the KOTA, there will be no event to live stream.

!!! KOTA is cancelled for now and will move to Nov/Dec 2021.. :( !!!


In Augusts we will hear more about it..
