I spend few years ago almost 450€ for 2 piq sensors.
Now my sensors are not charging because the batteries are dead. I contact the piq support team and they told me this
......Thanks for your reply.
Please note, that according to our rules we can make a replacement only within a warranty period (which is 2 years).
Considering the fact that your sensor was purchased more than 2 years ago we cannot send you a free replacement neither make a refund.
Sorry for the inconvenience this might have caused you.
Kind regards,
PIQ Team
And when i ask for service or the ability to buy new batteries from them they reply this....
"Thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately we don't provide any repair services and part replacements (except accessories like casing, mount etc.).
Replacement was the only option that we could offer.
Kind regards,
PIQ Team"
Ok with that but THEY DO NOT MENTION BEFORE I BUY THAT THE DEVICE IS USELESS IF IS SOMETHING HAPPENS AFTER THE WARRANTY EXPIRES.
THANKS PIQ

Idk what is wrong?
Electronics - usually 2 years warranty.
They do not repair it - you should read that before you buy something.
Look at the bright side - now you can join much broader Woo family

I bought mine second hand and it broke after a few months. I contacted them and they replaced but straight away.
I have a new one that hasn't been used in a year and a half.

Try SURFR the device is your mobile (almost any mobile) if it breaks/wears out get another phone! If you have a spare one use that! Its really amazing how acurate it is! And you can even use it in wetsuit mode so only thing you need is a waterproof pouch! Community is not yet their but these guys are building continuously and the case is coming soon!

Yes they do replace if your warranty is valid
If your warranty has expired then you throw it in the garbage
they dont do repairs and your device is USELESS
I think this is unfair for the customer , even more when the customer is not informed before the purchase that the company sales a device but can't provide after sale support and repair.

Its certainly a shame for you but that is how it works with thousands of other devices, you could have imagined that. You still have your Woo with a much greater community and you can try the new Surft app as mentioned.

If your PIQs are useless, open one of them to learn how to open another with less damage if PIQ does not instruct how to open them. Take battery out and measure it again if PIQ does not provide battery details. Then order small lipo is same size and fix battery, and try to have it back to water tight. This was practically what I was told with Xensr.
Just an example of batteries available from Amazon, but you could search yours from Aliexpress etc.
