Most stylish tricks of all time

Postby longwhitecloud » Wed Nov 18, 2020 3:19 am

I would like suggestion to collect together the most stylish tricks in kiteboarding.

Not interested to jerky dangling tricks, just fast take offs and landings with style.

The kind of tricks you see and you you say " that looked damn good" and get u pumped.

Hooked and unhooked.

Post the tricks you think fit this criterea and what rider does them with most style.

Doesn't get much more stylish than the "nuclear-glides" Steven Akkersdijk does on a skimboard in his Strapless Jungle video. So hard to grab this trick! No matter your preferred style, this video is worth a watch.

I have to admit I always love a good long backroll hand drag. It's one of those tricks that's difficult to land without it looking pretty good (look good or die trying) but can still be made to look even better by a few tweaks (landing blind for example).

There's an old video called "kiteboarding compilation of the best moves in kiteboarding" set to prodigy's spitfire from about 10 years ago since taken down for copyright problems

It is the definitive list of steezy

Slides
Walks
Megaloops
Pitted on a monster wave
Double backroll kiteloop
Handle passes

I think to be steezy you need to have 3 types of tricks dialed slides megaloops and handle passes. I'm not sure it matters which variation you have down too much.
