Which one would be easier to learn kiteloops on, Evo or Dice?

Bandits are perfect to learn on (I did - although still no expert). If looking at getting a new small kite, Bandit-s would be a great option as super fast and you can get it round quickly without creating too much pull.
I now ride pivots as prefer the low end and boosting being a heavier rider - but a good option too.

Thanks guys for all the good tips.
I understand my evos can reasonably do the job, so no excuses. I just need to do it now.
Cheers

You have the kite to learn loops. In soft setting Evo gives you reasobable quick and soft loops. By changing setting to hard, you would get more pull in the loop. You can learn all basics with Evo.
When you get the downloops, heliloops, kiteloops in jumps, loops in transition dialled then you will also know if you like to get a kite that gives you some more agressive loops or not.
Just go for it.
I agree. No need to go shopping first. This is more about the progression above and I add surface loops before even downloops. Just go out lightly powered and loop the kite and follow it down wind. No jump needed. You will learn a lot - loop it higher, lower, faster, slower, forward, backwards, ... and see what happens with little risk.
Having said that, if you do want to buy a kite for jumping that loops without generating too much power, you want one that pivot turns, and naish pivot is perfect for that. You can always generate more power if you want by looping slower. wave kites also turn without generating too much power (which is what wave riders want), but they are usually less good for boosting than something like the pivot.

Large bandits and 7, 9 Evo is brilliant.

Evo. Hands down.
Not because it's better at looping, but because when you f*** everything up (and you will, repeatedly), it won't hurt as bad. If the punishment is really harsh, you're not going to want to risk trying it again.

Hi guys,
I'd like to learn kiteloops, but I am 44 so I really want to keep it soft, and so I am looking for a kite that delivers a soft pull, and a tight and fast turn.
I already have an fone bar (I have 2019 bandits in big sizes) so I thought of a 7m2 or 8m2 2020 bandit or bandit S.
I also have a duotone bar (I have an evo 2019 7m and 2020 9m), so the dice is also an option, but I fear it pulls more than the bandits.
Alternatives could be the orbit, reach, pivot...
Your views?
Thanks
Clément
Ha ha
You are 44? Im 51 and started looping when was like 49.
This is why Im using Ultra v2 9m. There is almost no pull.
However, it will outboost many many 'better' kites in a skilled hands.
