Pump kite with portable air compressor

I used to have an electric pump... but too much faff & a big pump is just as fast

But.... does anyone else remember the small hand pumps that first came out first!!

Yes, A friend still has one and takes it and a patch kit in a backpack on long downwinders!

back in the day when everyone had an 18 m^2 kite, these were popular. I had one myself, but it broke. Now only Toby has an 18, so I haven't seen one in a long time.

Pros:
16 or 18 meter kite is 80% pumped by the time you lay out your lines

Cons:
it will break
your friends will call you lazy (and then they will buy one the next week)
might need adapters
still need to finish pumping by hand
are we really in that much of a hurry since we stay at the beach for hours anyway?

I've had this two-stage pump for a while, works like a charm:



I paired it with a 5000 mAh LiPo battery, so I can use it for a few days before I have to recharge it.
