Hi,
Looking for advice on kitesurfing in the Leucate to Narbonne-area.
- Best spots?
- Do you also ride on the inside "Etange"? Looks like fantastic flat water? Where?
- Access to beaches? Or you have to ride at a kite-school location with beach fee?
- Limitations?
- Overcrowded time of year?
- Clever place to stay to minimize administration? And perhaps also to find some kite-friends. Plan to stay a month.
- Acceptable winds in March-May? Suppose wind direction always is off-shore, why I'm attracted to the Etanges.
- Do I need a car?
Thanks /Tomas

Yes you do need a car and a small kite . Great place for kitesurfing , strong wind and of course , gusty .
Have a good day

I was there last summer, amazing place! Hands down the best spot to go to is Les Dosses which has insanely strong winds and quite often you can see the French pro's (Val garat, Nicolas Gambier, Clement Huot, etc. ) tear up the spot. Another good spot is near La Palme (42°58'16.0"N 3°01'05.8"E), which is a bit more gusty, but very beginner friendly.
You defo need a car by the way, the spots are quite remote.
Enjoy!
