Short walk to beach, if it is really cranking (pretty fussy), good waves/ slicks - i kite till i drop.. even into the dark.
I know i will be entering kite coma though... falling asleep super early - midway through chewing something with it half hanging out of my mouth when i wake up to move from the couch to the bed at 2.30am.. then follows walking around feeling like an 80 year old that fell down the stairs for 3 days or so.
I broke my arm 7 weeks ago and it works again so must still be some good healing going on at least.
If i have been in the sun all day and didnt bother to hit the beach showers at the end of the day due to tiredness it is like my entire body has not been oiled properly the next day, i wake up with my eyes stuck together with salt crystals, my joints jammed and feeling like my skin isnt big enough for my body.
Repeat.

4-5h to go to Brittany from Paris, spend the weekend there. It could be longer depending of the traffic.
(+3 to 5 weeks dedicated kitesurfing vacations during the Summer/Autumn in warmer and windy spots).
Session is around 2h. Not exhausted after the session but feel cold in Winter the whole day long.

I ride for 45 minutes to my main spot, thermal win, I ride almost all year long
I ride for between 1 to 2 hours
A little exhausted
Sometime there is a small wind here where I live and a will use a 15m

45 minutes to the local spot, 2.5 hours to Lake Michigan, 16 hours to OBX, 20 hours to SPI, 31 hours to Gorge. Will gladly drive to any of those again and again

For me depends which direction the wind are.
Northeast Wind
1) 1h15m - 70 km
2) At least 2h but i try to stay 4h. Depends if my wife is there with me, better if not.
3) Exhausted. Dificult to come back after have lunch, coffee is necessary.
Southeast Wind
1) 1h50m - 130 km
2) At least 3h. In this spot i always go alone. Tks God.
3) Exhausted. Dificult to come back after have lunch, coffee its necessary.
There are beach next to my house the problem is sharks attack, no kite allowed.
Guys, another question how do you convice you wife or partner to let you go all day long freely?
I myself have to trade a kite session for a Japonese meal. Tell me what do you do.

1: How long is your drive to the kite Session (one way)?
2: how long is your kiting Session?
3: How exhausted are you after the Session?
1: 18 minutes.
2: 1-3 hours, depending on the conditions.
3: From mellow to exhausted, depending on the conditions.
Kite whenever there's wind. Wife is happy to see me happy, as I am her.

It depends. The closest is 10 minutes away but hasn't been my favorite launch in recent years. So, I typically drive about a half hour to the normal spots, north and south. I like variety and so may drive 1 to 1 1/2 hour or more north and over four hours south to still other areas. I like to shoot photography while kiting so variety, as much is available, is important to me. I used to kite for 5 to 8 hours plus sessions routinely. These days with family, work and other commitments sessions may be from 1 to 2 hours. Usually, I come back feeling better than before I started. In more extreme winds and conditions, session duration and exertions will vary of course.
