Dear all,
sorry for my late reply.
so I finally could try out my new board.
I bought a RRD Maquina 5.7 (17,75 wide -> 45,08cm)
THANKS A LOT for all your help and suggestions.
Why the Maquina?
I got super good feedback from RRD, and this was the recommendation. I even started a little disscussion, and they explained very nice, why this is the only board they would recommend for me.
I also thought about the gong (GONG KITEBOARD LETHAL FSP 2X - 5.6)) and the Fone Mitu.
Mitu was expensive, so I just went for the RRD
What should I say:
it has everything that I wanted…. Maybe even a little to much.
it turns with very very little pressure needed.
it turns on a dime,
it is playfull
it want´s to turn.
Compared to my 5.8 Celero it looks so super super small!!!!
47cm compared to 45cm is a lot,
but the measurement one foot of, is more like 3cm less.
under the back foot, it is aprox 4cm less wide...
now I have to get used to it, that I do not need to put all the pressure I can give on the Rail!
I can ride toe-side now – before it was almost impossibel.
I can ride backside on the waves…. I never could get the cutback tight with the old one.
Actually I am very happy. But it is a big change.
So thanks again!
BR

Ah... sorry forgot:
Actually I checked all the boards out, you suggested.... and only because of these suggestions I could build up the Typ of board I was aiming at ... so thanks again!
And just to be sure, the Celero is a great board, but just to big for 70 kg and small feet, and a little too much Allrounder for me.
