I'm worried about Ozone's customer service. How long are you waiting for the warranty procedures? I made the pre-order in November and I am still waiting for the new equipment. I didn’t think Ozone was such a company. They seem like a very unreliable company to me???
they don't make stock, they are producing on order at the moment only their retailers makes some stock, they release new versions only when there is a real progress, I believe are good behaviour to maintain the value of the products over time and give always the best product with new improvement, finally they produce in Vietnam(far better than China) in their own factory where they choose exactly the quality standards that they want to pursue, this is a VERY good thing, quality is far higher than products made by third party factories

that said are also hard times for small companies, put COVID and then war...

for what I think is worth to wait in particular for kites like the Edge, AlphaV2 and Reo and also the Enduro sure, now maybe if you have the Edge at his 10th refinements Is not so necessary to go for the V11, but perhaps from Alpha V1 to V2 is probably worth if only for the continuous leading edge!

And if they don't make stock and they are producing on order how long are you waiting for the warranty procedures? New 6 months for new blader??
yes this is for sure strange!

Could the overflying possibly be down to your technique rather than kite? Near the end of your video it looks like you might possibly be sheeting out too far when bringing the kite to 12 just before sending it. Also holding a good edge on takeoff is key not only to getting better height, but reducing the chance of having the kite over fly. If all else fails, just heli loop as you noted. Maybe dont sheet out quite as far. Check out Mr Len10s technique on his latest vid on the 8m Edge v11 and you can see the kite flying much deeper on takeoff and minimal sheeting out before sending it!

Just got my edge v11 11m. Can't wait to test it but we got still subzero temperatures here. I don't expect difference to v10. But I was so happy with v10, imho it was the best LEI ever :)
i love my v10s but they lack bottom end compared to the v9s. i could have loads of on my 9 meter
v9 meter in 20 knots and now my v10 it just is so underpowered. same with all my v10s compared to v9s. i now use 11 meter at 20 knots. At 17 knots on v10 11 meter its also a struggle

You are right with the minimal sheet out. Definitely not what I am doing on my 8. But I also do t loop the 8 powered. Way to scary - I switched to a pivot for that one which low always feels like a pussy loop - charting. He is also still suicide which I never do.

Would he jump the same way if he went for maximum height?

I used to sheet out too much myself. I thought it was a matter of sheeting out as much as possible to get the maximum boost, but I find it extremely difficult to get the timing right if I sheet out maximally. Might of course just be my lack of skills. I would have thought a five struts kite would handle that better than my three struts Enduros though?

For me it’s still more about feeling reasonable tension in the lines, but definitely sheeting out to not get roped off the water to early.

Today we had a little bit more wind, it was gusting up to 14-15 m/s and the trim was at full power all the time, 11m handles that well. I'm 87 kg.
But it was the max amount of wind what I wish for big air jumping for that kite.
