Bladder valve replacement

I have removed a bad sprint valve on my cabrina kite and now i'm trying to remove all the glue residue. Any suggestion?
I've been using rubbing alcohol but nothing seems to be coming off the bladder.
Has anyone used goo gone on a bladder?

You may need pure isopropanol. I use friction with paper towels, replacing often. For stubborn glue, you can use hot water. Submerge for 20 sec and repeat the rubbing. Be gentle with the bladder as you don't want to rip it.

Sometimes I'll use those green dish washing scouring pads. Takes a while sometimes rubbing and rubbing off the old glue. It's actually good if you scratch up the bladder some because it gives you good mechanical adhesion for the restick

Don't bother with those goo dissolving things they don't work and just leave another residue you have to wash off. Anything that dissolves that old glue will also dissolve the bladder. Rubbing alcohol and some good old fashioned rubbing, that's how to do it.

Thank you everyone with your advice it worked.
Now I realize the bladder maker has put a second layer of bladder material under where the old valve was.
It is still adhering to the bladder.
Can it be roughed up and cleaned so the replacement valve will properly adhere.
The replacement sticky valve is a circler patch that goes beyond the second layer.
Suggestions please.

I always cut away the top layer but anything works as long as it sticks properly
