But variety can be relativ!
You have your variety in doing different sports, I have the variety within one sport and one discipline.
And I am not interested in any other sport since I am so hooked on my stuff.
But always good that we have choices for whatever we want to do.
So, keep enjoying your variety

every time i venture into 'variety', i.e., non-water sports, i have a collision with Mother Earth that injures me a lot more than the water ever does. Kudos to those who can get away with it.

Oh yeah, notice I never limited the conversation to different sports.
Variety can be 10000 different tricks or different disciplines in the same sport or different sports....
It also doesn't need to be sport related. I have omitted family and business from the above as this is a sporting forum. '
Now you may notice a common theme in my montage. Its all and interaction with the terrain. I am a terrain hunter. I love to ride the tech. Weather that is climbing a mountain, Blazing a mtb back down it, hooning a sand dune on a buggy riding a wave on the water or chasing the storm.... its all the same see/react/do mental state of flow that i'm seeking. To some degree the type of terrain is irrelevant. Sand/water/dirt... I dont care. '
Now post of your montage of awesome shit.
I'm sure you have 50000 photos of airstyle Toby. post some up.
Let us celebrate every ones stoke and diversity.

Yeah that's me. Back kitesurfing after a long time out. I'm back in Wales now.
Maybe I should get my old account back
