It looks almost identical in shape to the rpm my guess is that it's still great unhooked. Probably cheaper to make since they got rid of so many panels and lighter too which is nice

I was thinking the same thing... I think they probably felt like they the RPM ran its course and was in need of a full reboot. Glad to see they simplified the bridle as well. I do hope it is a better jumper than at least the 2012-2018 that I'm familiar with. After riding other kites more regularly than jumping back on my 2012/13 RPM there was definitely less height than my other kites. Not complaining because I love the bar feel of the kites but it was definitely a downside of the kite. Also, glad to see they finally updated the strut valves for the first time in at least 12 years.

Video sounds good.
And it even gives me another exhibit in my "Museum of solutions to things that were never problems in the first place".
For what possible reason do we need to expand the diameter of the strut hoses?

Marketing!
It made 0 difference to Duotone kites. Although, with the stupid valve system they have, the struts inflating/deflating were never going to be the problem.

Looking at the description there's no discussion of the bridle apart from it being 25% lighter. Will it have the same wake style/frestyle setting?
I guess we can assume it's now fixed bridle/no IRS from the promo pictures alone. I wondered what Julian Fillion was up to at Ride Engine....

Hard to see but at about 1:10 into that video it looks like there is a second attachment point.

Thanks, looks like the same bridle as last year apart from a change to a sliding pulley. Looks marketed after bandit2/endurov3 rather than gts/dice.

I’m waiting for the UFOX....
thinner bridles lines seem like an easy upgrade path.
I kind of think the strut inflate lines are a bit small so it is probably a nice update on the rpmx.

Does the RPX has pulleys? In the technical movie I see a short shot with a 'aluminium connector' between the bridle and the line connection. Is it a pulley? On the site Slingshot they don't say anything about pulleys..?
