Is the RPX replacing the RPM?
yep...
now they went into a more GTS/Dice style of a kite
If true this would be true, my RPM V12 will be my last SS.
I chose to the RPM because of its unhooked-abilities which is only matched by the Dash when talking about bridles Kites IMHO..

Hopefully that's not true.
My first concerns already started when they started advertising the big air stuff for the v11..
On the other hand, they introduced the Raptor and got rid of the Fuel which made me hope they would develop the RPM even more into the Wakestyle direction.

Fingers crossed.

Will it handle the gust as well as the rpm?

The rpm was a great inland kite, and still "took it in stride" when the wind went side off on on the ocean.

I hope the RPX dosent go all "Dicey" in junky winds like the dice or vegas.

i`m strongly in doubt about it
they completely burried the Fuel down i think - RIP
though it would be interesting deal to try to tweak Fuel`s 5 struts platform into something new.
But SS got the Raptor which is not succeed (at all) in my opinion

And? What's your impression after watching the introduction video?

I think there was in total 1! unhooked trick in the riding scenes and they don't talk about unhooked characteristics at all.
Maybe it's just marketing and in reality it's still the unhooked beast it used to be, but my hopes are low.
The leading edge looks more bended as well imo.

II don't understand the range anymore tbh. Four Freeridekites, one Wavekite and one Foilkite?

Let's see..

What bother me the most is that they are loosing their naming coherence !!!
They had a "motor theme" for their kite : Rally, RPM, Fuel, Turbine.
And now the Raptor, Ghost, UFO, Rally GT, RPX: what is the link ?

And for the board it was even better with a "Psycho theme": Crisis, Asylum, Misfit

Can’t really comment until I get a demo. Videos of tricks are in all kite makes. It’s all about the feel.
