Rebel is better for MEGAloops? That's a font claim.
Do you have some footage of you doing Megaloops on the Raptor and the Rebel?
I'll get some footage next time wind is up!
I hit some 10+M loops on the 9,8 and 6M last week.
If ya'll think the rebel loops poorly I dont even want to know how good the other kites are

The Rebel can do a nice normal kiteloop; it has difficulties megalooping because the kite does not want to drop to the horizon or below. The design plus the double wingtip attachment do not let you smoothly drop the kite as low as a C kite for example.

2021 does. YT is full of content with new Rebel looping like a charm.
It's about MEGAloops; not Kiteloops; not Heliloops. Complete different story.
I can't find a single video showing that the Rebel is better for MEGAloops than any other kite.
And I am not even speaking of a video of the thread creator MEGAlooping the Rebel compared to the Raptor (which is what I asked for )

That makes a lot of sense, I'll keep you posted on my findings

Well here is a video with my initial impressions, this is about a week into riding the rebels

Nothing beats a C kite for looping. SS Fuels or Duotone Vegas for the best kite loops. Problem is it is a lot harder to jump the kites high enough to loop them.

This is a nice video showing smooth powered kiteloops however they are not megaloops. To call it a megaloop you have to drive the kite to the same height / altitude as the rider so that the kite is at or below the horizon. If you show up in Cape Town in January you will visually see alot of people doing real megaloops.
The Rebels design does not like going that low.
PS: alot of your loops were simple one loop powered kiteloops at low altitude. If you are serious about megalooping, you need train yourself to immediately go into a second loop to reposition the kite after a megaloop (one effect of driving the kite to the horizon is that the lines will go slack and kite will be out of position - the second loop is needed to get the kite back above you). Also you really want to do this where you are jumping 10m+ consistently or the kite will not always catch you in time and those crashes are bad.
It IS possible to megaloop the Rebel but its such a PITA and the crashes suck so bad, easier to choose a different kite (Duotone has other kites for looping or other brands).
