For the 2020 bar they were set with the front lines 2cm longer than the back lines
2021 all lines the same.

Interesting. How does it affect the kites if swapping the bars around to the different years?

It's actually quite simple. The 2020 bar is in the optimal trim (full power, not over-sheeted) mode with the 2cm of depower pulled in. So in this setting not difference in trim etc. There are many improvements in the 2021 as noted in other threads but no issue forward/backwards compatibility.
