The 2021 Duotone Juice Kite is the ultimate weapon against those no wind days, the Juice is light and powerful, suitable for foiling or riding twin tips in the lightest of breezes.
The Juice has been a favorite among the light wind warriors for many years now, dubbed the session saver by the pro team, it’s the kite everyone needs in the trunk of their car when they head to the beach. There is nothing worse than arriving at the spot to find you need a few more knots of wind, the Juice puts an end to that, it is almost always windy enough when you have the Juice!
Designed for extremely light wind freeriding, the smaller sizes are also optimized for foil kiters. What sets the Juice apart from other large kites out there is the incredible handling, a characteristic produced by its unique shape and profile and also the reduced weight.
The Flex Struts really help the kite to respond instantly to rider input, giving the Juice a very active and lively feel, while the unique tip design offers plenty of turning speed. There was a time when large kites were slow, uninspiring and hard to relaunch, the Juice rewrites the rule book giving the rider a dynamic flying experience and a kite that can relaunch in the lightest of breezes.
The bar pressure is surprisingly light, and the kite has less drag than before, making it faster through the air and allowing it to generate even more low-end power. When the wind picks up, the Juice has an impressive range, enabling you to stay on the water for longer and jump higher.
Don’t just plan to mow the lawn on the light wind days, nail all your tricks with a massive smile on your face and feel the power of the Juice!
Just guessing here but probably a couple of factors:
* I think they are still testing the water to see how many people are willing to pay a premium for marginal weight loss
* I guess the Juice is a low volume product compared to eg Neo. Having 2 product lines like they did with Neo might not be economically feasible for lower volume product.
* They might be afraid to price the Juice out of the market if there is only a Penta version
* Maybe manufacturing limits of penta material
* Maybe design time limits. Probably costs some time to re-tune the kite. They probably don’t have the resources to redesign a lot of kites in a single year
Also this not being an single strut it’s already going to be on the heavy side anyway. It seems more marketed to very heavy riders on a foil or regular twintip riding then ultra low wind foiling.
I am more surprised the Mono is not Penta to be honest.

@leeuwen
fair enough. All what you said makes sense, but I still find it very, very contradictory to advertise Penta TX as a lighter material and then to not use it in the lightwind-specific kites of the product spectrum.
