Protec has several good water helmets. I like this one:

The artical stated :
Cliff Simon Dies: Actor Who Played Ba’al On ‘Stargate SG-1’ Was 58 ...

One of those episodes , that included Ba’al ; it aired last night . I thought
how sad it was, that such a talented actor ; had died, from such a simple
mistake , (such as complacency) !!

To be fair here :
That , "Is" exactly how i lost both legs below the knee , when i became complacent
and lost focus, while hang gliding ; bad thing to do, when engaging in ANY ,dangerous
adrenaline sport . :(

I was returning home from kitesurfing on my yamaha Super Tenere when I hit a dear at 60MPH.
Zero time to do anything. It was a head on hit and the deer came out of the dark in a split second.
I flew in the air and landed hedd and left shoulder first on the hard and very abrasive surface of Mullholland highway.
I must have gone 15-20ft in the air because the mark on the road surface from my helmet (9ft long scar on the blacktop the color of my helmet) was about 80 ft from the skid mark of the front tire being turned all the way by the deer.
Great points - thanks for sharing. I've just ordered the Protec helmet you like, as it seems better than my Mystic one.

On a side-note... you can further significantly reduce the risk of injuries by wearing... a car around yourself - rather than just a helmet and airbag vest.

You are right, but it would also be safer not to kite..... that said I do not ride street anymore.... too many ass hats fondling their cell phones and too many drunks on the road.

COME TRY OUT A HELMET!

I decided to go out and order a full set of helmets XS,S,M and L.

I bought them out of pocket.

Everything I go out kitesurfing I will put them out on the beach under a life quard tower or in a prominent place at the launch for people to try out.

Please return them and do not put them on or take them off with your kite in the air!
