I settled on a Nexus 2. The assuringly high price won me over;).

How about North Reach? :)
Although, if you already have a Neo and Duotone bar, Duotone Evo or Nexus would be a smart move. You would not need a new/extra bar ;)
Ah, yes. Very good good call.

I have access to all brands, pretty much. Ozone Enduro is also an option.
If you can, try before you buy. I'm not a fan of Ozones outside of their foil kites. Fun to watch the Overbeeks on them though.
What is an overbeek?

My Enduro V2s are almost exactly the same weight as Duotone Evo SLS, but much less expensive of course.

Enduro V3s are the same as the V2s with identical bridling but there are new colour options.

And a ‘stiffer, tougher’ triple rip stop material & high flow valves! It has a slightly better range and turns slightly faster but you would have to fly them back-to-back to feel it. As for longer lasting, I guess we’ll see.

I probably have asked this but a demo is not possible at the moment, how is the bar pressure on the 12m set to the wave setting? I know, compared to what? Okay, a North Reach or DT Evo or Core XR. Thanks!

Reach < Evo < XR

The XR has medium to heavy pressure. Evo is quite light and Reach is slightly lighter.

I’m riding XRs and can confirm they are “tricky” on a foil :)

About to make the switch to Nexus 2, would love to hear what other people have experienced with the same switch.

Which kites did you start with? Did you move completely to Nexus or just certain sizes?

I have the same doubt evo or nexus 9m
I know well evo already used 13 and I liked it: very easy to jump but good enough slack and pop when overpowered . good enough for foiling as well.
by being 85kgs
and by using 70% freeride/freestyle hooked
20%unhook
0% wave
maybe sometime foil
what do you suggest and why?

I’m learning to foil at the moment with a standard DT Evo 9m. A more foil orientated kite might get you out in lighter winds but I’m still out long after the TT guys have gone home. If there’s enough wind to steer the kite I can get going and if it gets windier than I’m comfortable on the foil with it’s good for the TT. I’ve used Evos for about 6 years now in various incarnations and tbh learning to foil I’m just glad I’ve got a kite that I don’t have to relearn at the same time I’m trying to foil. My advice is that if you’re learning and youve got a good alround kite that you’re happy with try that first before you venture out in super light winds and or buy a kite you don’t know
