Hi. If you are wondering how the new GoPro Hero 9 works with the Max Lens Mod see my new video. I used a Kite Line Mount and a Helmet mount to shot videos during light wind kite airstyle, wave and foil sessions. I set the camera to 2.7K 60 fps, Ultra Wide Angle 155° FOV and Horizon Lock. For the helmet mount I disabled the Max TimeWarp to increase the FOV. Overall the video quality is impressive. Mounting the video I didn't use any editing filters.
Would be interested in seeing the same perspective without the max lense mod for comparison.
Cheers
Edit: I get it. The max lens will keep it all level so the kite can loop without the footage rotating. Way nicer. The max 360 camera also does it really well.

Hi, I mounted the camera about 3 m from the bar. Yes, the great advantage of the Max Lens Mod is the Horizon Levelling that works great so you don't need any footage rotating editing software. I also own a GoPro Max that has the same feature but I found that the GP 9 offers an overall better 2.7 K video quality. That being said the best feature of the GP Max is an impressive continuous recording time especially at 1080p.
