Oregon Coast Filmer

Postby Billradman » Sun Apr 04, 2021 9:14 pm

Ello! I'm Bill and I live in northwest Oregon 15 minutes from Sunset Beach/Fort Stevens State Park.

I have a variety of cameras that I want to start filming windsports with. I love watching kitesurfing but am not much of a water person. More of a land dweller. I really want to get into land sailing (like a blo-kart) since I live near consistently wide/flat/hard beaches at the tide swing.

Anyway, I want to film you if you want to be filmed and are traveling to the north Oregon Coast. I do not require a fee. What's in it for me? Filming practice/experience, and a chance to pick your brain for advice on conditions/gear/techniques/locations. Will give you footage and photos for free.

Any time I go to the beach without my gear I see kiters/buggies galore, but every time I actually have my cameras with me it's empty. Just trying to sync up an opportunity to capture some footage and learn a thing or 2 ab windsports from windsports people, with the bonus of some free footy of yourself or your crew shredding.

Keep it real peeps.

There are two different sports. that might interest Ya ; both are a BLAST !!

The blowcart, is easier to learn ; but if ya think you ever want to
get into kiteboarding, (on water) then go for the kitebuggy first.
