Kitech FRS 12m, 24m lines and hydrofoil carving
(And then peak4 4m when wind gets more)
Interested in the idea of a Kitech FRS. Currently have a 6m Peak4 for "light winds" ... which means 10 knots & up. What do you consider the range of the Kitech 12m (80 kg) for foiling?
Thats my weight and 8 to 16 knots is fun with it, a little less or more is possible but becomes less fun

Naish Pivot 10. Awesome jumping capabilities, very decent in waves and good low-end and upwind performance.
Same here, 10m Pivot is fantastic.
If I had only one kite...it would be the 10 pivot. My favorite..I think is the 8 pivot, or 7 slash. Dammit. Do we have to decide on one kite?
Have to agree on the 10 meter pivot, great range, S25 LE is pretty cool looking too

i would have to name 2
- pivot 8m for surf/boost
- peak4 5m for hydrofoil.
i have kept peak4 in the closet over the cold months because i didnt want to swim in the cold. but now that its warm, i really get stoked to ride it. totally different feeling.
( i also got an old 2011 kahoona 5.5m for like 100$, and i really like riding that also, just because it was so cheap! i can feel the value !)

I have the 8m and 10m Pivots which are my favorites of all time. I want to buy a larger Pivot, but I'm afraid of being disappointed. Really no place to test one where I live.

I briefly rode a friends 14m Pivot (2020 model). I think I prefer my 14m Boxer for light wind riding. Feels lighter and more playful.

If SA hadn't shut down again I would have been the proud owner of 3 new kites now
Then again looking at the first page I already got the "best" kites. And I do love my 9m Enduro. Completely irrational to spend that much money replacing them of course
SA 2025! Here we come!

+2.
Love the 11 Pivot in the mid 20's range. Jumps great, flies fast, goes upwind, loops perfectly and is just super fun to ride.
Dirk I have the 14m Pivot too and it's a very good 14m kite....much better than others I've tried and not a total dog. It's a great kite to learn stuff on in lighter, less heroic winds.
I bought a 16m Boxer for light breeze, last ditch effort wind/vacation kite.
