Your original quiver actually sounds awesome. I find 10m flite, 5m peak, 8m pivot as a good compromise quiver. With 20 and 27m lines . Range is low to 30 with foil/surfboard switcheroo.

Few different kites could do the 10 ,8 job. Only one for the 5.

I decided last year to split my kites to TT and foil as I could not find a good overlap.

TT: Edge 8&11. Great for TT but I never was happy on a foil with them as I just carve with the foil and don’t jump. We have a few edge foil riders in our era who like to whip some impressive air but that’s not for me. Edges jump great but drift terribly.

Foil: As said I like to cave and want a playful good drifting kite. I got myself clouds (which I dislike for TT) in 8.5&5. I also have a Pansh Genesis 5 which is also great and I am not sure at the moment which 5 will stay long term.

Now I overlap in wind quite a bit with the foil more on the lower end and the TT the upper.

So no overlap for me. Just two different sets for tow different preferences. It depends on your preference if you find an overlap. G

Souls didn’t work for my conditions. They may work for you. Steady winds are perfect, if you have a beach susceptible to mechanical turbulence maybe not so much.
I’ve had a few issues due to turbulent winds. I sold my soul ( ha ha) at a huge loss. I love my OR flites.

1) Light wind machine: 10-12 m foil kite. Chrono Sonic or
soul. Also decent for TT in 15 knots
2) Booster: Edge Rebel Bandit Pivot or other. I would also tend to choose 10-12
3) Medium wind foiling and storm TT kite: 5-7 UFO, 6m Boxer or 5 m peak or similar single skin. We are really liking the Boxers and UFOs here.

I wouldn't want any single strut , no strut , or peak at a storm kite. I would add a 6m pivot or equivalent .

Is anyone foiling on Pivots? My currents XR6 8 & 11m are pretty bad for foiling and since I recently started kitelooping them I'm finding 11m pulling too much. I was considering getting Ultras 9 & 12m but I might be better of replacing XR6 for something more friendly in loops and better for foiling.

I would like to have same 8 & 11m size for Pivots if they have similar low end to XR's

I'm looking to cover a wind range of 8-25 knots
8 - 15/16 kt foil , then TT.
People who TT and foil , please share your set up , and feedback on it.
I use the following quiver:

13m Ozone Chrono V4 (Foiling 6knots to 17+knots)
12m Naish Boxer (Foiling 8knots to 15knots) (I use this when it's wet weather when I don't want to ge the Chrono wet, but it's not as good fun for my style as the Chrono.
9m, 7m, 6m Naish Pivots (great for both foiling and TT.)

Hi. I use 8m and 9m Reedin supermodel and 12m Naish pivot S25 for tt and foil. this pivot drifts quite well and does not pull heavily in turns. I use a pivot with foil from 9kts to 17kts. However, for the wind from 6kts I take Kauper XT Falcon 11m. this is my perfect set for everything.

Is there much difference between Pivot & Supermodel? I really like Reedin bar but kites are sold out in Poland and Pivots are cheaper

In the Netherlands, where I live, Pivot and Reedin are very popular. I really like both kites because they are incredibly versatile. The supermodel is a bit faster and has less pressure on the bar.
