Hi Everyone,
I am interested in your thoughts about fins you use on your surfboards. I think that fins are the most underrated part of the equipment although they can make a huge difference.
I can describe my sessions as 70% freestyle strapless and 30% wave riding. I've used Small Blackstix (better for flat water) and Medium Control (better for choppy waters in my opinion). Have you found anything more springy and lively than a Blackstix? Also I feel like they are not super durable, I've snapped one, completely cut at the base and I am only 64kg, although I do a lot of flat spins (definitely putting stress on the side of the fin).
I've heard the Quobba fins are very very good too.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts!

I switches to Qobba Fins a while ago from futures, I think the AM? Thee Qobbas tend to make my pretty fast board even faster, which I feel especially in the bottom turns, where I tend to not bog down as much anymore. The Qobba fins also give me more control at high speeds, somehow I feel this especially in choppy conditions.
I jump a fair bit, strapless, they're holding up fine.

For Futures I really like Alpha, F4, F6 or JJF. Depends on board & what I feel like doing. For any price they’re hard to beat for me.
