Advice needed: which size Naish Apex Binding

Dear all,
I would like to upgrade my „cheap“ Bindings to a Naish Apex...

But what size?
5-12?
9-15?

What is the difference?

Is the pad longer/wider?
Is the strap different? Longer /wider?

Or is it just the velcros to adjust the straps, that are longer, and the Rest is identical?


I only have shoe size 8 (41) BUT I always wear boots.... normal 5mm Boots....nothing special...

I was told, as soon as you use boots, take the large bindings.. But not sure about that....


That’s way I asked for the differences...
I hate to long pads on my narrow board...

With your shoe size and boots I think you could use either. I would lean towards the smaller one. I have shoe size 8,5 (42,5) and with 5mm booties I can use the smaller one. But that is also always influenced by the shape of your feet.

I also have the larger one I use in winter with 7mm boots which do not fit into the smaller one for me.

The pad is longer and I think the strap overall is bigger in the large version. I use the large binding on my 41cm wide TT without issue.

Just received the smaller one...

No chance to get in.
Problem actually is the front strap. And not so much the height, but the width.
Barfoot I have Full contact to the sides, and can not move left or right.
But with shoes.... no chance.

And yes. I know that in water it would get better, but for me personal it is just too tight.

A little disappointing for me.
But still I think: great Binding.

(Not sure if I will get the large on, as this again is not discounted beginning of the season)
