Mystic short loop

Hi,
I saw Mystic created a new spreader bar for strictly hooked in riding. It seems based on the mini loop from their rope spreader bar. With this I have a question, did anyone try it with a duotone chickenloop? The line from rope spreader bar was too short for fat duotone chickenloop and I wonder if it would fit for this one.

This is the one I am asking about https://www.mysticboarding.com/products ... ar-#000000

Hi jedi1,

For strictly-hooked riding, my new favorite setup is the ION C-Bar 3.0 with the Quicklock hook:

You can add an SMC climbing ring (like I did in this picture) to make the Mystic spreaders more chicken loop friendly. However, I much prefer the ION C-Bar with the Quicklock.

The C-Bar looks very good. The one problem I have with it is the bulkiness, as I want my chicken loop to be as close as it can. Even though I have long arms, I find that when riding powered it's much better to have the chicken loop as close as possible. This way you can keep your elbows closer to your body and be much more rigid and in control.

I changed the rope in the spreader bar for a longer one and I have the duotone wave chickenloop with a metal plate, so it doesn't wear so fast. I still am not quite fond of rope spreader bars, because they still do wear off and I don't like the complicated knot attachment. A metal version looks much better, but reading about normal hooks cracking raises concerns.

I have a Mystic Clickerbar 4.0.
My problem is that the bar is far away from me when I need it
I want to get closer to the bar....
1)Can I change to STEALTH FREERIDE?..
2) and MOST IMPORTANT...How much (cm/inch) closer to bar will be Stealth Freeride vs Clickerbar 4.0?..
Thank you

From the mystic website, is that typo intentional ;)

"If all els fails, The Stealth will have your back."

The safest option if you are worried about hooks cracking is the rope slider with additional small rope loop, rather than tuck the small loop around as per the advice, just hook the CL through both loops to give double safety. I found I had to lengthen the small loop a bit to make it safely release with Duotone CL.
