Core XR7

Postby live2play » Tue May 11, 2021 6:10 am

I'm guessing this was posted early since it's not up on the Core website yet (as of May 10).

Interesting. Seems like the biggest difference is drop in weight?

As always: Lighter, stronger, more durable, better lowend, better highend, better feel, higher precision, better foil / wave / freeride / freestyle properties. You name it.... It´s a KORE ;-)

By the way not suggesting they had to change the XR a with a lot. Incremental changes makes sense I guess - and at least they are not pumping out a new version every year.

I love the XR's for what they do (boosting and wind range), but my go to Core kite for everything (jumping, foiling, waves) is a GTS. If money wasn't an issue, I'd definitely buy a foil specific kite, etc, but for my one model quiver, I go with the GTS.

I like the artistic design.
Looks even better on the new Fusion board, no more eye sore Zebra stripes!

Looks like the biggest change is in the shortened bridle.
