The velcro needs to be fully open with the valve sticking out to have an effect on the internal pressure of the kite.

Just do a long mixer test and fly it bone dry and you should be up and running if there are no broken bridle lines.

Use hair dryer cold mode to fill the kite. Are cells symmetrical? Does kite hold air 10 minutes with only minor deflation?

Today a new session. Extra attention on closing the butthole. I had no problems at all. The wind was 10-12 knots. When the problem was there, the wind was 16-18 knots, but it looks like i did not close the butthole good enough that time and it explode open and the kite collapsed. I hope there is no problem anymore, I had a great session. Thanks for the replies.

What's your weight?
In 16-18kts I won't use a 18m with my 72kg.. tried a Sonic 18m in 8-10 kts and had a blast, thinking the wind picked up.. but no, almost nobody moved..
Had some probs with my 10m Soul in high(er) winds.. solved by chanching mixer settings (C-3cm, which give B-1.5cm)
