Victoria, BC - Ocean Rodeo, an international brand recognized for over two decades as a leader in active water sport drysuit and wind sport equipment design and manufacturer is today excited to announce the sale of its Drywear business to Mustang Survival, a pioneer with 50 years of lifesaving innovation in the marine environment and a strong track record of drywear solutions in a variety of applications.
The sale of the Drywear business allows Ocean Rodeo to narrow its focus to delivering the world’s lightest, highest performance kites and wings for the wind sport community while ensuring its 20 year history of water sport drywear innovation and development will be honoured and built upon by another widely respected business also based in the Pacific Northwest.
For 20 years, Ocean Rodeo has enjoyed the confidence of an incredibly loyal consumer base who have trusted us with their lives and the lives of their loved ones while on the water, pursuing their passions. Today’s announcement honours this history by ensuring that Ocean Rodeo will continue to drive forward our agenda of innovation and leadership in the rapidly evolving sports of kiteboarding and wing boarding, while ensuring those same customers’ comfort and safety on the water will be in very good hands with the team at Mustang Survival.
