Hello guys,
Today on my kite session, the wind died, and when I got to the beach I realized that the foam attached to the bar was broken. (as the image attached shows)
Does anybody have any suggestion on how to fix or replace it?
I couldn't find any similar case of what occurred to me
, if you guys can send some posts related, I'd be glad.
Thanks!

If the rubber compound is soft enough I would consider adding a stitch or two of whipping twine to Onda’s PU glue suggestion.
Probably glue once if it fails, regule and add stitching for reinforcement. Or as it only a floater, jam a strip of neoprene in the top just to stop it riding up and just go ride if everything else is sound.

You could drill a hole in both sides near your thumb and palm of your hand, and use a piece of thin rope to hold it roughly in position when unloaded.
If it can't be reattached you can remove it as long as the bar still floats without it.

Could it be melted or welded together using a soldering iron, heat gun, or other?

If it was my bar, I would just remove the separated foam off and call it a day. Foam just adds weight to a bar. Light bars are better.

3M makes several spray adhesives for foam so you might try them. I used their 90 spray and it was really strong and held well on another project involving foam to foam.

most if not all bars came with the floats separate from the bar, held in place with leader line length adjustment knots hidden inside, really great system and made wrapping up the bar lines so much easier, so I would call it a great mod, not a fault. but it would be better if the other side received the same modification.
not great for a click bar as sand would get in the wrong places are wear out the lines, but for fixed leaders its just fine,
