I do have the 12m SM for about a year now and access to a 12m 2020 Pivot.
Due to my 90kg the 12 is my mostly flown kite.

The bar pressure on the SM is a bit lower and it feels quicker. But that speed maybe the result of the higher stiffness when I pump it up with ~14 PSI. Thinking about this in detail - yes it has a more playful feel.
Height, Airtime, Drift ... interchangeable. A gust brings more variantion to the result.

But the Dreamstick I have to admit feels much better than torque or base. The PU cover is really nice. It enables to grip closer to the middle without having the fear to steer and get your hands cut open.
U pump your kite at 14 PSI ?
The manometer on the kitepump´s hoses are not made for prescision. The SM states on the tube to go for 12 PSI. I found for myself that at roughtly 14 PSI shown on my pump it feels good, solid and doesn´t deform that easily. The 9 for example feels good at 12 PSI and the 7 at 11 - on my pumps manometer.
Would be interesting to use another one and see whats the difference, but when I´m at the beach I want to go out and not check out other pumps :)
That is why I use 5 struts kites they don't deform much when overpowered But I considered to use pivot because I hear u can pump u till 12 PSI BTW I 7se rebel

The Pivot S 25 is a very stable kite. I have 9m and 12m. I really like these kites. 12m is great for jumping with foil and tt. I also have a Reedin 7m and 9m supermodel. I also like these kites, especially for big air, kiteloop and foiling. The only drawback of the Pivot 12m is a bit of a lot of pressure on the bar.

How do those 2 compare to RS Eleveight?

They have very similar profile and program.

Nice. Re the bar pressure. Have you tried to move the backline attachment? If you move it out, it should make the bar pressure significantly lighter.

Of course. Pigtails are hooked on the last ear. However, in the Pivot 9m, the pigtails are in the middle and it's perfect.

Is it because you ride it in lighter wind and therefore are sheeted in all the time? On my 11 there is no real difference in bar pressure to the 8. Also, I am not trying to suggest obvious things...it just sounds a bit odd.

Has anyone tried the new Pivot S26 12m? How does it compare to the Supermodel v2? Want to use it for a mix of TT boosting and foiling.

Little off subject. I bought a 9mtr s25 pivot and was so impressed that I ordered another one.(coming mon ) The low end was so good that I bought an 11mtr instead of 12. This may be an option for others, great lowend and a little more lively kite. And I'm not a lightweight,6'4" 220 !

I used to ride Pivot since the first model was released and upgraded every year.

This year I made the switch to the super model 2, I prefer it over the pivot (softer - loop better - but yet can send big air when I want it)...

I feel they nailed it perfectly with the super model...

You can definitely feel Langere and Girardin were the driving force behind it and this they left Naish, it seems a logical choice to switch to Reedin.

I just ordered the new 12 pivot. Can't wait!!! It has gone through quite a bit of refinements to focus more on high jumping.
