Hi everyone,
I have found this hybrid drysuit to replace my old Prolimit hydrogen after many years... it is repaired everywhere. I am a fan of hybrid drysuit because are definitely easier to wear then neopren, warm when necessary and and cool when the weather become a little warmer. Then by having less fabric the full drysuit there is less to repair when it becomes older... The Forward is very similar to my previous but never heard about it. Somebody has used it? experience
Btw it seems it is the only hybrid existing..
I don't get it. It is the worst from two worlds combined. You get the wetness from the wetsuit and the risk of leakage from the drysuit. Why would you choose to not wear neoprene on the top if you think it is the right choice for your legs (and vice versa)? Wearing wet (merino) wool (as suggested in the video) on top doesn't sound something I would feel comfortable in.
I can understand a dry suit and I can understand a wetsuit. But mixing the two? I am not convinced.

I assume this is to be used in a kayak that has seal around the opening/your waste level.
If that’s the case you are not expected to really get the bottom half wet anyway.
At least that’s the only scenario I can sorta think it might make sense..
I have One similar...prolimit hydrogen dry and neoprene leg.
The best i have since i start.
No more on sale.
If someone have One new in shop XL or XXL please let me know.
if you read my post I am already using this type of hybrid drysuit since many years and i am happy with it (prolimit hydrogen). i am not asking an opinion on hybrid drysuit but i just would like to know if somebody is using this forward wip cause prolimit do not produce it anymore.

You gotta do what you gotta do. Seems like you don't want to share the stoke.
Maybe there is a good reason they stopped producing it?!
