Duotone Dice 2022

I just joined the forum. I was wondering when duotone 2022 lineup will come. I would line to change my old 8 mt with a new
Dice. Is it worth? would you rather suggest me waiting for some
months? i saw some new colours came up and with covid i dont know what to exept? Dice 2021 came up last september. do you think dice 2022 will be realesed on next september 2021?

I would really love to see Aluula version of the Dice with smaller LE diameter and higher PSI and use purple again, making it a Purple kite with golden LE (and yes I did see the SP episode about gold and purple lol).

The Vegas and Dice would benefit from a stiffer LE in terms of fabric and higher PSI bladder. Mostly cones in to play in extreme conditions or with high weight (or both!). Also would make it crispier and have better low end which is the weaker area for both kites.

Suspect its a 2023 model possibility, would give a huge adv over other KOTA kites like the Orbit.

To be honest i hope 2022 will not be as 2021, i waited for 4 months to receive my 10 mt dice (covid, evergreen ship etc).
Have guys seen some pictures of 2022 dice?

I expect a sls penta tx dice in September. It will be interesting to see if there are non sls versions of duotone kites this year,

Doubling the models of all kites doesn’t seem like a tenable business model.

I would wager duotone aluula usage will be rare and expensive.

Based on my time on the evo sls, dice sls, will be stiffer and have a slightly smaller leading edge.

Shipping continues to be an issue and I would expect delays will ease as we get into 2022.

I hope to have SLS version but also normal ones. Aluula I think will be only available for Juice (dlab) or Mono models focused for light wind, at least at the moment.

With the huge delays that Duotone had with the 2021 range, i would have hoped they would take one year break and release the 2022 range in 2022.
Usually the new range is launched in early September, but even now in July you need to wait a good couple of weeks before getting most of the 2021 range in hands.
I'm hoping more for an even lighter (maybe SLS) version of Rebel so i can step down from 14m to a 13m as my light wind kite or to get the evo sls in 13m.

Duotone historically staggers the launch of products, especially kites stretching from August to March.

The evo sls launch slid from fall into January for 2021.

If you are only waiting a couple of weeks for something that is significant progress. There is plenty of stuff, not just kite stuff, out there with long delays.

What will be interesting is if the Dacron neo and evo get updates this year or if it is all in on penta tx.
