It’s been over 10 days now since she went missing. I Googled “missing kitesurfer” to see if I could find an update and was surprised how many stories there were about missing kitesurfers. But didn’t find an update on her.

35,000 people have been rescued worldwide using satellite beacons. The beacons are so accurate sending GPS locations that they say it is no longer search and rescue, but just rescue.

How will that affect decision making?

Just think of all those marginal day opportunities now made possible with the "security" of knowing there is a host of emergency services who have "got you covered"

What might some of the knock on effects be?
Who will benefit, who will not?

How many kiter rescues will it take to alter their mission statement?

Think of it , this way "Sarda" :
the devise is nothing more than a , (Back-Up) for when things
go really Bad ; decision making for safety, should remain the
same , and as you already know , (nature doesn't always comply). :o
It's just another Exit-Plan ; relying on your intuition , is still
Paramount !!!^10

Ha ha,

Need to answer, sorry.

We do not know you.

That is the fact. So when you judge someone with not saying absolutely anything about yourself or your actions, this is just one way discussion.

In that discussion many people are going way over the top in peronal attacks. When did u see me doing that? Like, questioning your manhood?

My question to you is/was simple. And has nothing to do with balls or feeling less of a man.

It is simple, really. If you think that we cant question your decesions in a hope that we will learn something (b/c thats what everone wants, right?), why do you question decesions of dead people who cant answer?

Because you can answer, but do not want too. In reality, you did. I clearly remember.

Re fabric, send me your addres and Ill send it to you. Its still in that same papers wrap. Not a problem at all for me. Since u mentioning this more than once. Remember, we (I) dont know you. Im sure u great person who is just killing some time here with no learning anything at all.

Intuition cant be learned. One has it or not. Here, one has great time and one surviving. How is the advice of not going out relevant for both riders? See the problem of giving advices on safety?
But hey, if I tell you that, Im wrong. If u ask rider who is enjoying himself?

You can think of it however you want. If you view it as a "back up" then your judgement/decision making is already affected?

Point made.?

Back to square 1?

Why is PPE considered the least effective method of risk reduction?

What other methods are considered better?

There is no debate here. You either know and understand or you do not. This is the real basics!

Bille, did you ever used a mobile phone to reply? If you did, any issues or it worked great for you?
It is really not my problem if this forum features do not work as expected on all devices.

But you failing to recognise this and go even further with your accusations...

As the guy said. There is no debate here. You turned this into something else, not me.

Have a good day, you are gone on a foe list...

* So they don't use Air-Bags in cars, in your country ,(another back-up) ?
** No Cell phones to call AAA, if your car breaks down ?
*** No Cell phone for navigation ; or to call the police ?
**** Skydivers usually Always have a back-up reserve , for if the main reserve
refuses to deploy ; but you wouldn't bother, with such nonsense.
***** No ship to shore radio in your boat , for if when the engine stops running
or worst, (the boat is sinking) ?

Your correct here , (there is no debating with Silly) ; and you
would rather die, than use a back-up devise of any kind . LOL

Actually , there is a debate here :
It ,"Is" your problem, that you would continue to
use a devise, that is not supported by forum features.
Yea -- Don't do that ; it's Really kinda ignorant . :nono:

Glad i'm on your foe list now, so i won't have to read about more of
your dumb arguments .
And just toss my Nomex Honeycomb, in the trash ,(Thank you), :bye:

There is a good chance this Thread would Not exist , if the 30-year old
woman had bin using a personal locator beacon . It kinda sounds
like you guys are trying to talk people into needlessly dying ; because
of some strange aversion, to current technology.
