Duotone Juice 13 2021

Postby jhonson » Tue Jul 13, 2021 8:26 am

I do not find much about this kite. Kite is also sold in all stores. Tried (4 h )13m and was with better hang time and jump beter then EVO 12m and faster than my CORE XR 11m. Others who have tried it and can write a review?

Are you looking for 11m as they only do 13,15,17 for 2021.
You have tried the 13 so could do a review.
I love 13m on foil and 15m dlab (I’m currently testing) on twin tip.

hey I have the juice 11 2020 it is built with light materials, thin bridles and no pulley.
i use it for foiling (85kilos 1200 sqcm fin) and I love how it holds in air with few wind when many of traditional kite are falling down. but not as well as the juice 15, I have seen this one flying last year in a very light wind day and all others kiters swimming.
this measure is very powerful and fast (fast as my vegas 10) . leading edge is very thin if overpowered it deforms a little (btw it s ligthwind kite).
approach is powerful by pulling the bar. never used to jump with twintip just did only few freeride and I got very good feeling.
finally does not start backward (high AR).
do not wet it before light wind session it loose its lightness!
I am happy with it I have done definitely more foil session then the past with an evo 13

I tried for 2 hours EVO SLS 12m and JUICE 13m 2021 4 hours 7-9m / s. I use regular XR5 11m. JUICE was faster than an XR5 11m, only slightly smaller than an EVO SLS. It was easy to jump with JUICE highest and more hung hang time an SLS and XR (maybe because it was 13m).

I just collected my Duotone Juice 13m yesterday, on a marginal day when nobody was out other than 2 foilers, one of which was failing even at that. Wind speed 8-12 knots. Super impressed, kite has light to medium bar pressure on the middle setting, I have an awesome light wind board as well which helped, was able to stay upwind, do reasonably powered back and frontrolls, middle sized jumps and generally have fun. Kite jumps really well.

Andylc, can you specify ypur weight, this will help to compare. Line lenght if not standard also, in light wind a 2-3 m lenght ext can make a difference. I agree a ‘high end’ light wind board does make a difference. Tks

I’m 65kg. Riding Nomad Superleggera 142 LW board. Standard line length (24m) - I do have 5m extensions which I wasn’t using. Comparison is to F-one Breeze 13m which this replaced. Has a slightly better bottom end but as far as I can tell better apparent wind development once you get going, and much better lift. Lighter bar pressure (on middle setting) and slightly faster turning.
