Important : check bloodsugar and diabetics.

Plus another possibility:
Heat stroke
Sun stroke

Both make you feel sick, shaky and cold….
Just another idea…..

probably you are not used to the level of intensity and cold water...focus on what you do on non-kiting days, and if you can take up swimming in open water.

I usually just pound down a 6-pack or forty Oz of beer before and after my session, that way I know I am well hydrated and also have a sufficient amount of calories to sustain my session and help with my post session recovery. I've been doing it for years and it's never failed me. Also helps loosen you up for kiting, and you always feel like your lit, even on light wind days.

I only do beer afterwards. I don't want to kite when alcohol is in the game. Before I just drink water or soda.
