Hallo guys, I would like to change my kite (RRD Passion 10.5m 2019, 3 strut kite) and want to buy (same wind range 12-26knts)a new kite for very gusty conditions (10-20knts...or 15-30knts).
Can you please tell me what characteristics I must search for?..I would like an RRD kite but every proposal is welcome

P.S...just riding, no jumps yet ..53years old, 1 year kiter..25 years windsurfer
Hi there, may I ask where you got your RRD from? I'm looking for a 10.5 un the US and don't seem to find it. Either new or used.
Thanks :)

Sorry for answering now...I am from Greece and buy kites from Greece or Europe
Same here. I'm from Spain and here RRDs are available all over.

yeah heard nothing but great things about the peak in gusts. better than a tube kite? I'll find out.
if you are only looking at one aspect - gust handling- then Peaks are better but you need the right conditions to have fun with them, lot of wind and waves

Evo, Rebel, XR should all be good choices. Evo would be the lightest which can help if you have wind dropping below 15 knots, although for me personally if the minimum wind isn't 14 knots I don't kite.
