I have bandit x 2017 and when I pump it to 8psi it seem that it is too little for it as i folds quite easily especially when doing unhooked tricks. If the kite backstalls, it often folds and inverts with canopy wrapping around the leading edge, making it unflyable. should i pump it to higher pressure or do i risk my kite's bladder exploding?

Pump it harder. Kites work way better when they are stiffer. Every pro I know pump there kites are hard as they can. You hardly ever see a kite pop, can't even remember the last time I saw it happen just from over inflation. Try it at 10psi and see how it feels.
What sizes is the kite? An 8m kite will need a higher PSI than a 14m, so bear that in mind too.

Also bear in mind PSI readings on pumps are not accurate. Best to do the ping test instead.

12m is 8psi
9m is 9psi
7m is 10psi
Never had a problem with these pressures.
