I'm currently riding 9/11/14m Naish Dash, with a 7m Pivot. How is the S25 Pivot 9m for jumping and general riding ? Looking to upgrade my 9m Dash, it boosts well but not outstandingly, hoping the Pivot would have that extra bit of boost. 87kg, Shinn Monk 135cm, UK Kiting, looking at the 25 to 40mph range.
Got my 9 the other day, got to try it today. Don't know dash but compared to my rpms its apples to oranges. Went from my 12 rpm to the pivot 9 and there was hardly any falloff. I'm 215lbs and I was amazed at the low end. Jumps were weak, the loops are very strange in low winds, only tried a few to see how it felt, you can loop the tightest radius with no pull. Hopefully with the right wind It will pull better with a slower open radius. Tough to tell in light winds the potential, except the low wind performance. There was a guy on a core xr 13.5 and I was the same speed and same tack, strange for my fat a%$. 20-30 on sunday, that will be a good test.

I have my 9m S25 now too.... and typically it's stuck hovering around 12mphfor the next week!

Did you get the ltd pirate version ? I think it adds 2 knots to the low end and 3 mtrs jump height and free beer in the parking lot after session.I'm married so I had to avoid the adoring groupies that were chatting me up ! :o

I tried a friend's 8m (pirate graphics) and found this tight quick kiteloop allowed for my only real trick (strapless back roll with backloop). I landed every attempt! I would choose this quality for any kite I fly as I only ride strapless.

I also found it seemed very efficient in its low end which is crucial on a surfboard. Glad to know it wasn't just an illusion created by the steady wind. This would allow a size smaller kite which is always nice.

Billy, not sure if you've gotten out on your new 9 yet. I had my 2nd session today, this one was 20 -30 with gusts to 35(mph).Let me say you'll be very happy when you finally get the wind to cooperate. I guarantee it ! See you at the KOTA :thumb:
