Flysurfer Peak 4 Size Recommendation

I couldn't bear to go through the 254 pages in the FS Peak 4 topic so here are my questions;
What size do you recommend for lighter wind mornings in La Ventana? Say, 11 to 20 kts.
Can I assume that my 4 line bar will work ok? What length lines?
Foiling of course. 55 or 67 kg riders. 967 sq cm front wing (Lift 150). We like to turn and surf and play.

Your bar will work, and a 5m for 11-20kts, for your weight even a 4m might be enough, some one lighter then me have to confirm the size.

This is too big of range to be confortable with just one peak IMO.
4m if you want to be confortable above 15 knots or 5m if you prefer to be confortable under 15 knots. You have to sacrifice something, low end or high end.

For me, 70kg Moses 633, 11 knots is basically to extreme low end of my 4m. Lots of work to get up and riding but still ok. Would be more fun on a 5m but I don't have one!

Yeah, one kite won't do it. At your weights, a 5m for the low end & a 4m for the high end ... but in all honesty approaching 20 knots is likely to be too much kite for a 55 kg rider ... & maybe even for a 67 Kg rider.

Your 4 line bar will work fine. I would suggest 20m lines, but a bit shorter or a bit longer would also work.

3 and 5 m2 to cover, that range.

Or 4 and 5 but you will be at the upper pleasant limit with your low weights and 4 m2 in 20 knots.
I use a 3 m2 before 20 knots @78kg

I have just 5 and 3, and while it is true those will cover that range, I would not recommend skipping sizes, there is not much overlap between them. At 70kg, 3m is a high-wind kite. It will work in sub-15 knots, but it doesn't come alive until about 20 knots. I would get a 5m and 4m to cover 11-20.

I would think the lighter rider would be better with a 4/3 quiver. So maybe just get all three kites and call it a day.

That said, if you are only getting one kite, I'd say 4m would be best for that range (based on my 5 being a bit big and my 3 being a bit small), but you'll miss some days.

Thanks to all of you! I have a 7m and 9m UFO to help out. We're just wanting to try this type of kite. A friend will have the Souls that we can also try.

There are blue kite days, and there are orange kite days. 11-20 knots covers both. At your weight with your foil, 11-15 is blue kite. 15-20 is orange. These two sets of conditions are vastly different.

5 and 4m on any standard 4 line bar with standard line length.
