Naish bar ATB - maintenance (D-power handle/loop slipped off)

Postby czezz » Mon Sep 13, 2021 7:03 pm

Hi everyone,
I think the pictures say all. During one happy session i pulled D-power down and the handle/loop stayed in my hand :D
Any trick to put it back?

Cheers
Czezz

Can you stitch it? Slide it back up and sew it back on? I've never seen that happen before.

I would avoid at any costs to stitch it... unless this is the only way.
I wonder how do the put it together in a factory... dont tell me they stitch it, haha :D

Looks like the replacement line is just straight line whereas the one from factory is ended up with stitched knot (see pic 1 and 2 on my opening post).
But i can try to cut it, slide the handle/loop back and tie a knot (as on video).
Thanks for this link!

That would be the quickest solution. The travel for the depower will be a bit shorter and you need to adjust (shorten) the back lines via the knots on the leader lines. Or put some extra pigtails on the front lines. Afterwards check for equal line lengths.
