I understand the difference…
Some view the sport as a powered skateboard…
Some as a powered surfboard…
Others as a powered foil sailboat…
So many other views…
In any case…too old for too many triks…
Just an “easy rider”
Nothing against flat water…but prefer deep blue ocean…as slalom is my current interest.
As I said, a lagoon, me…few friends, a girl…good and relaxing…
But a place you are constantly having to monitor people atempting crazy stuff…crashing kites or even landing dangerously close…loses the purpose…stresses nore than relaxes…
Close…and observing public…stimulate the ill qualified to do SH*T
Sure there are those perfect off season days there.

How did they accomplish that? It always felt like Cauipe was a few feet higher than the sea level. Maybe not quite 1m, but higher.
I asked myself that question, then checked the tide tables for Fortaleza. I guess the high tide was a few inches higher in the last few days.
A lot of work to fix, looks like a big bite of the shore is gone. Lagoon will be pretty empty at low tide.
